Job summary

CHI St. Vincent, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to serve as the clinical and educational resource for our cardiovascular inpatient population.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN or related master’s degree required (or MSN if your BSN is not in nursing).
• 3–5 years of cardiovascular clinical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of documented cardiovascular patient population experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical and educational resource for cardiovascular inpatient care.
• Lead educational initiatives and mentor nursing staff.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and multidisciplinary teams to improve standards of care.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice and opportunities for nursing research.
• Provide high-level clinical guidance and direct patient care for complex cardiovascular cases.
