Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Scientist – Cardiovascular to join our global development team in the United States. You will translate clinical and safety data into actionable insights, collaborating with Medical Directors and cross-functional partners to shape medical strategies.

In this role, you will lead medical data reviews, contribute to study-level assessments, and ensure adherence to ICH and GCP guidelines while supporting ongoing audits and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans, coordinating input from outside experts to prepare medical plans.
• Performs regular and ad-hoc medical review of data listings and data visualization; analyzes data to identify risks and trends.
• Authors medical data queries and reviews query responses; approves query closure with Medical Director.
• May assist Medical Director in patient profiles review and safety review meetings.
• Manages project scope, objectives, and deliverables; serves as primary interface between internal team, customers, and vendors in medical data review and eligibility review.
• Collaborates with study team members to identify risks related to data integrity and subject safety; escalates concerns timely.
• Attends Trusted Process meetings and may participate in audits.
• Adheres to data privacy guidelines, ICH, GMPs, and enterprise policies; follows SOPs and project plans.
