Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Scientist - Cardiovascular to lead medical data review and collaborative development of medical plans within a cardiovascular context. You will work with Medical Directors and external experts to ensure robust data interpretation and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination across Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations and Data Management, aligning with project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical data review and collaboration with Medical Directors.
• Familiarity with ICH and GCP guidelines.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to manage data review processes.
• Understanding of protocol designs and disease terminology.

Responsibilities

• Develop medical plans with Medical Director and coordinate inputs from external experts.
• Perform regular and ad-hoc medical review of data listings and data visualization; analyze data for risks and trends.
• Author medical data queries and review responses; approve query closures with Medical Director.
• Assist Medical Director in patient profiles reviews and protocol deviation reviews as needed.
• Partner with Medical Directors for medical data review and safety review meetings including slide preparation.
• Manage project scope, objectives, and quality of deliverables; act as primary interface between internal team, customers, and vendors in data review and eligibility review.
• Attend Trusted Process meetings and participate in internal and external audits.
• Acquire basic understanding of ongoing protocol designs and disease terminology.
• Adhere to ICH, GCPs, enterprise policies and project plans.
