Job summary

MTK Healthcare Inc. in Brick, NJ is seeking a Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Recent Impella and IABP experience required.
• Experience assisting with invasive cardiac procedures.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program.
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the Cardiac Cath Lab, equipment, supplies, and sterile trays.
• Assist with cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Provide support during Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) procedures.
• Assist with temporary and permanent pacemaker placements.
• Set up, operate, and monitor hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Obtain and analyze hemodynamic, cardiac output, and oximetry data.
• Recognize cardiac rhythms and assist with continuous patient monitoring.
• Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, radial band placement, and hemostasis.
• Operate power injectors and other specialized Cath Lab equipment.
• Maintain strict sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in the department's on-call rotation as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility and departmental policies.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Brick, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have recent hands‑on experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab and be proficient in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Impella and IABP experience are required for this position. The candidate should also have strong hemodynamic monitoring skills, experience with invasive cardiac procedures, and a solid understanding of sterile technique and patient safety protocols.

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program.

Required Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification – Required
• ARRT Certification – Required
• Additional certifications may be required based on the candidate's discipline and facility requirements.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Pay: $2,900–$3,024/week
• Location: Brick, NJ 08724
