Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Cardiovascular Specialist to support cardiac catheterization procedures. You will perform Circulator, Recorder, and Scrubbing duties alongside a care team of cardiovascular surgeons and interventional cardiologists.

Qualifications include NC RN licensure or allied health program completion, with Cardiovascular Interventional training preferred, and CPR on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license in NC or allied health tech with registry or license.
• Completion of Cardiovascular Interventional Program as applicable.
• Two years of experience within registry/license scope preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Preparedness: ensure equipment and supplies are ready; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Safe environment: maintain safety standards and report malfunctions.
• Record keeping: input patient data and charges; maintain privacy and logs.
• Communication: maintain professional relationships with patients and staff.
• On-call: provide 24-hour emergency coverage; respond within 25 minutes.
• Patient care: monitor stability and assist with medications and procedures.
• Education: mentor peers and participate in CE and competencies.
• Age-specific care: tailor care to patient age groups.
