Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Care Team Associate for the Cardiovascular Services Department. Under RN supervision, you will perform routine patient care tasks and help implement the care plan.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, no prior experience, and BLS certification. CPCT/PCTC/AUA credentials are required, with opportunities to precept new CTAs. Comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.
• Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) OR Patient Care Technician (PCTC) OR Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health status under the RN supervision and implement the plan of care.
• Record vitals (BP, temperature, pulse) and collect specimens as directed.
• Set up telemetry, apply sterile dressings, and assist with procedures.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• May precept new CTAs.
