Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physicians for locum tenens coverage. Start date ASAP with a pay rate of $376.36–$407.40 per hour, with on-site duties, call, and weekend coverage.

Positions require board certification; board-eligible candidates may be considered. Cardiac fellowship and Transesophageal Echocardiography certification are preferred. Texas license is required for assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified in cardiovascular anesthesia; Board Eligible considered.
• Cardiac Fellowship may be required or beneficial.
• Transesophageal Echocardiography Certification preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular anesthesia coverage for complex surgical cases (Level III Trauma, NICU, Cardiac, GI, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Bariatrics).
• Coordinate mix of on-site duties with restricted/unrestricted daily call, including weekends; hours determined by case load.

This facility is seeking 2 Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physicians for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: mix of on site, restricted call, and unrestricted daily call including weekends (hours to be determined)
• Types of Cases: Level III Trauma, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Cardiac, Gastrointestinal (GI), Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Bariatrics
• Credentialing Timeframe: 46-60 days
• Certifications Required: Must be Board Certified; will consider Board Eligible, Cardiac Fellowship, and Transesophageal Echocardiography Certification
• License required or accepting IMLC: Must have an active Texas License
