Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage. Start date ASAP with regular 8- and 10-hour shifts; pay rate $376.36–$407.40 per hour, guaranteed 40 hours per week plus call.

The role involves supervising or working independently with 23 ORs across two campuses and requires active Delaware licensure or IMLC. Board-certified physicians with BLS/ACLS/PALS are required, and Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Active Delaware state license and Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) or licensing.
• Mon-Fri shifts: 8- and 10-hour shifts; guaranteed 40 hours per week plus call.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cardiac Anesthesiology care for locum tenens assignments.
• Support coverage at two campuses with 23 ORs total.
• Coordinate anesthesia services per facility protocols and patient needs.

This facility is seeking an Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity

• Call & Requirements: Monday - Friday, 8 and 10 hour shifts; Guaranteed 40 hours per week plus call
• Supervision vs Independent: Supervision 8 MDs/27.5 CRNAs daily
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications required: Board Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Number of Operating Rooms: 23 ORs across two campuses
• License Required or accepting IMLC: Active Delaware state license, Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), or licensing
