Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Florida. Immediate start date and on-call responsibilities include weekdays and weekend shifts as needed.

Supervising anesthesia residents, CRNAs, and CAAs is part of the role, with EMR usage across Patient Keeper, Medaxion and QGenda. The successful candidate will hold Cardiac Fellowship Training, be Board Eligible or Board Certified, and possess Advanced Transesophageal Echocardiography

Qualifications

• Cardiac fellowship training required or equivalent.
• Active Florida medical license or eligible (IMLC) required.
• TEE certification required for cardiovascular anesthesia duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular anesthesia care as needed.
• Supervise anesthesia residents, CRNAs and CAAs.
• Coordinate with EMR systems including Patient Keeper, Medaxion and QGenda.

This facility is seeking a Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Call and requirements:Monday-Friday, 7a-5p, if needed: 5p-7a weekdays, and 24 hr call on weekends
• Supervision vs independent: Supervising/working alongside anesthesia residents, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), and Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Patient Keeper (also utilizes Medaxion and QGenda)
• Certifications required: Board Eligible or Board Certified; Cardiac Fellowship Trained; Advanced Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) Certification
• License required or accepting IMLC: Active Florida license,
