Columbus Cardiology Associates in Columbus, GA is expanding its cardiovascular team by adding a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The role combines outpatient cardiology with hospital responsibilities, offering mentorship and hands-on training alongside six experienced cardiologists.

We welcome experienced cardiology APPs and motivated new graduates who seek long-term growth within an established practice and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active Georgia license or eligibility to obtain.
• Current board certification or eligibility for certification, as applicable.
• Cardiology experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct outpatient follow-up visits and support ongoing patient care.
• Participate in inpatient cardiology care and hospital rounding as needed.
• Review diagnostic testing and develop treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients about their conditions, medications and cardiovascular health.
• Work closely with cardiologists, APPs, nurses and other members of the care team.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Cardiology | Columbus, GA

Columbus Cardiology Associates is expanding and seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular team in Columbus, Georgia.

Build your career in cardiology alongside six experienced cardiologists and an established team of Advanced Practice Providers. This role combines predominantly outpatient cardiology with shared hospital responsibilities, providing experience across a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.

We welcome experienced cardiology APPs as well as motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine who are seeking hands‑on training and physician mentorship.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule

What You'll Do
