Responsibilities

• Handle inpatient cardiothoracic cases with admissions and rounding.

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

• Schedule: Call only.


• Practice Setting: Inpatient


• Types of Cases: Cardiothoracic surgery; inpatient admissions and rounding.


• Patient Volume: 3 patients per shift.


• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.


• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner.


• Certifications Required: Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery, fellowship required, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support.


• Licensure Required: South Carolina medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
