Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to provide support to a busy cardiothoracic surgeon in the south Houston suburb community of Clear Lake. The incoming PA will join a team of other advanced practice providers to support the Cardiovascular surgery line.

HCA Clear Lake is rated as a top tier 3-star program by the Society of Thoracic surgery and performed over 400 heart surgeries last year alone.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA) required.
• Ability to obtain or maintain Texas medical license.
• Strong cardiothoracic experience or passion for cardiac work.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospital care and surgical first assist.
• Support cardiovascular surgery team in OR and outpatient clinics.
• Collaborate with AP providers for patient care.
