Job summary

AMN Healthcare in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to support an active cardiac service line, including femoral vein harvesting. This OR-focused role features shared CVICU responsibilities, a four-day schedule, and paid call opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be NCCPA-certified, graduate of an accredited PA program, with CTS experience and NY license eligibility.

Qualifications

• NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery PA experience required.
• New York license or eligibility.
• Five years of CTS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• OR-focused role with shared CVICU responsibilities.
• Support a high-acuity cardiac surgery service line.
• Collaborate with dedicated critical care APPs.
• On-pump, off-pump, hybrid, and MICS CABG procedures.

Join a growing Cardiothoracic Surgery program seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with femoral vein harvesting experience (radial harvesting preferred). This is an OR-focused position supporting a high-acuity cardiac surgery service line with additional CVICU coverage alongside dedicated critical care APPs.

Compensation & Benefits

• $165,500–$240,000
