Job summary

Jackson & Coker is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA for a 24-hour call coverage assignment in Kentucky. The role includes OR duties, telemetry and ICU responsibilities, with 1–2 call days per week and one weekend per month.

Shift patterns involve 7am–7pm days plus 7pm–7am call, with weekends covering 24 hours. The position requires board certification, a Kentucky license, ACLS/BLS, and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Board certification required.
• Kentucky license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• DEA registration required.
• Experience with CABG/AVR/MVR assistance and thoracotomy/lung resections preferred.

Responsibilities

• OR duties include first assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR and thoracotomy/lung resections.
• Telemetry and ICU duties alongside OR responsibilities.
• Call duties: 1–2 call days per week and one weekend per month.
• Weekend coverage includes 24-hour shifts and inpatient rounds/surgical duties.
