Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner to provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage in Lexington, Kentucky. The role involves day shifts with call duties, supporting inpatient and operating room services across the assignment period from November through May.

The clinician will assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy cases, and will participate in telemetry and ICU duties as required, with on-site coverage and 24-hour call responsibilities throughout the rotation.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Nurse Practitioners required.
• Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred.
• Ability to provide coverage across inpatient and operating room settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and OR settings.
• First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, and lung resections.
• Manage telemetry and ICU duties and support call requirements.
