Job summary

LocumTenens.com invites a certified Nurse Practitioner to provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage in Lexington, Kentucky. The assignment includes inpatient and OR duties with day shifts and 24-hour call. On-site, with call 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month. Responsible for first assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, and lung resections, plus telemetry and ICU support.

Opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center setting with established protocols and a strong team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Must be willing to cover day shift with 24-hour call.
• Locums assignment in inpatient and OR settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide CTS coverage across inpatient and operating room settings.
• First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, and lung resection cases.
• Handle telemetry and ICU duties during shifts and call periods.
