Job summary

Carle Health seeks an experienced CV Surgery 1st Assist Advanced Practice Provider to join the Urbana team. The role covers adult cardiothoracic and vascular surgery with opportunities to develop sub-specialties based on clinical interests.

The APP will practice full scope across surgery, clinic, and hospital rounding, collaborating with four other APPs and five surgeons. Weekend call and holidays may be required, with a strong emphasis on perioperative patient care.

Qualifications

• Experienced Advanced Practice Providers with surgical first-assisting capabilities.
• Experience with EVH and perioperative patient care preferred.
• Ability to practice full scope in Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries (CABG, valve surgery, TAVR).
• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery team and other APPs.
• Engage in clinic, operating room, and hospital rounding to support patient care.
