Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient coverage for cardiac and thoracic surgery patients. The APP will rotate to High Point and support both Winston-Salem and High Point sites, with day inpatient coverage and night call as part of a 40-hour workweek.

Candidates must have an NP Master’s degree, current state RN/NP licensure, board certification, and strong communication skills.

• Board certified in NP specialty and active state license.

Responsibilities

• Use clinical judgment to determine patient care plans.
• Collaborate with medical team to provide team-based care.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
• Perform procedures per department guidelines.
