Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Cardiothoracic Advanced Practice Provider to serve as first assist in cardiac and thoracic operations and to oversee the CVICU and step-down unit.

This role requires an Idaho PA or NP license, vein harvest experience, and a collaborative, patient‑centered approach with our Cardiothoracic Surgeons. Saint Alphonsus Health System offers relocation assistance, generous health benefits, CME, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Vein harvest experience required.
• Previous APP experience in cardiac disease management and working with cardiothoracic surgeons.

Responsibilities

• First assist in all cardiac and thoracic operations.
• Manage the CVICU and the step-down unit.
• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons and multidisciplinary team.
