Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation in Canton, OH is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery service. The role provides care coordination, rounds, and collaboration with CT surgeons and intensivists to admit, discharge, and manage postoperative patients.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, supporting discharge planning, and educating patients and families. Current Ohio APR license and BLS/ACLS are required; 3 years CT ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in Ohio
• Minimum 3 years in Acute Care/CT ICU setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; teamwork and leadership qualities

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CT surgeons and intensivists to admit, discharge, and care for patients
• Perform diagnostic procedures and document results in the medical record
• Respond to rapid response and code blue calls and coordinate interventions
• Provide patient and family education and support, discharge planning
• Present assessments and plans during interdisciplinary rounds; maintain professional conduct
