Job summary

The Staff Pad in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a patient-centered, experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide comprehensive cardiac and thoracic care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will join a collaborative team performing a broad range of adult procedures, including CABG, complex valvular and aortic surgery, TAVR, and robotic thoracic surgery, with a focus on education, outcomes, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency and/or fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, perform exams, diagnose conditions, and assess health needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including surgical procedures.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and educate patients and families on options and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Follow clinical guidelines to promote patient safety and outcomes.
• Participate in academic, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with patients and partners to enhance care.
