Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Memphis, TN. This in-patient service requires in-house call coverage from Nov 24, 2026 to Nov 30, 2026, with a 5:1 call ratio and travel/lodging and malpractice coverage provided.

The candidate will perform a wide range of procedures including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, TEVAR/EVAR, and other CV/vascular surgeries, manage ICU patients, and insert lines and support

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon.
• Active TN license or Universal License (IMLC).
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Cardiothoracic surgical care in CVICU, ICU, and cardiac step-down units.
• Perform CABG, valve repairs/replacements (AVR/MVR), and TEVAR/EVAR procedures.
• Manage acute volume/blood pressure issues and ventilator management in critically ill patients.
• Insert central lines, arterial lines, PA catheters, and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) as needed.
• Oversee post-operative surgical patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
