Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant I certification with NC DHHS current license.
• BCLS certification must be maintained by the end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance.
• Record patient data for medical records and inform RN/LPN of changes.
• Administer basic care including feeding, bathing, hair care, hygiene and comfort.
• Take and record vital signs, document input/output and report changes to RN/LPN.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transportation of patients.
