Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support patient- and family-centered care at our Northeast Philadelphia location. The RN will use the nursing process to develop individualized care plans aligned with patients’ cultural beliefs and priorities.

The role emphasizes collaboration within inter-professional teams, adherence to evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development. Requires PA RN license and BLS; BSN preferred or near completion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and culturally sensitive communication.
• Ability to apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment in plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver care aligned with Jefferson Health values.
• Integrates evidence-based practice and clinical expertise for optimal healthcare delivery.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Minimizes risk by following established nursing practices and protocols.
