Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care in an acute setting. You will develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, effective and compassionate nursing practice.

You will collaborate with an inter-professional team, apply evidence-based practice, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient-and-family-centered care and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Knowledge of nursing assessment, care planning and documentation.
• Understanding discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
• Familiarity with health information documentation and compliance.
