Zusammenfassung

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a per diem Acute Care APC to join the Heart & Vascular Institute ICU team in Allentown, PA. You will collaborate with the cardiothoracic surgeon and other providers to deliver expert patient care to postoperative cardiac patients.

Responsibilities include initial evaluation, invasive monitoring line placements, ongoing education, and contributing to quality improvement projects.

Qualifikationen

• Board certification in acute care is required.
• PA/MD license or eligibility in Pennsylvania.
• Experience as an APC in an ICU/OHU setting.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with surgeon and non-surgical staff for patient care.
• Perform initial evaluation and examination of assigned patients.
• Place invasive monitoring lines including CVCs, dialysis lines, arterial access.
• Participate in ongoing education, quality, and research projects.
• Contribute to service-related databases as indicated.
• Educate patients and families during the inpatient course.

Kenntnisse

Acute care board certification

ICU management experience

Ausbildung

MD/DO or NP/PA degree

Eligible for PA/MD license in PA
