Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to support the CSICU. This role focuses on caring for critically ill cardiac surgery patients in the ICU, with nights and rotating weekends.

The ideal candidate has a cardiothoracic surgery background and at least two years of advanced practice experience in acute care; critical care background is preferred. Inpatient responsibilities are 100% and include collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% inpatient care in CSICU for critically ill cardiac surgery patients.
• Support our CSICU team and participate in quality care initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure evidence-based patient outcomes.
