Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Franics Campus is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiothoracic Team in Topeka, KS. The role involves first assisting in CT and vascular surgeries and coordinating inpatient care for seamless patient transitions.

Ideal candidates have CT/vascular APP experience, EVH proficiency, and are comfortable with Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to streamline documentation and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cardiothoracic and Vascular APP experience, preferred.
• Proficiency with Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH)
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• First assist in cutting-edge Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeries.
• Admitting service: manage and coordinate inpatient care.
• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons, APPs, nurses, and specialists.
• Access to advanced cardiac care technology including TAVR and robotic surgery.
