Job summary

Legacy Health seeks a qualified professional to support the cardiopulmonary services department, performing stress tests, EKGs, and related monitoring to improve patient care. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year non-invasive medical diagnostic testing experience preferred.
• Current coursework in cardiology and pulmonary laboratory testing as a student in a Respiratory Therapy training program preferred.
• Current American Heart Association approved BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps technical knowledge of equipment and procedures current.
• Operates Cardiac Stress Testing equipment with competency and accuracy, providing quality data.
• Performs nuclear medicine and pharmacological stress testing with quality data.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the cardiology data system and monitors newborn/hearing screenings as part of the program.
