Job summary

Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions. The CNC partners with management to monitor nursing care and serves as a resource for staff to ensure an outstanding patient experience.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, assist with admissions/discharges, and support improved outcomes through coaching and leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN Virginia license or multistate compact license.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• 1+ years acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes by partnering with leadership and subject matter experts.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Current RN Virginia license or has a multistate compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• 1+ years acute care experience required.
