About The Department

The Cardiometabolic Sales Team leads the US sales efforts for Novo Nordisk’s portfolio, including therapies for diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular risk reduction. This role offers frontline exposure to our portfolio vision, strategies, and market insights, driving our business forward with a focus on patient reach and care.

The Position

Achieve sales goals by executing local sales and marketing strategies, promoting Novo Nordisk products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) such as Hepatologists and Gastroenterologists, and key customers.

Relationships

Maintain relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare personnel. Support target physicians with clinical and educational initiatives by coordinating resources to improve patient health. Internally, report to the District Business Manager and collaborate with other field-based teams to ensure a coordinated approach.

Essential Functions

• Maintain accurate activity records and reports

Physical Requirements

Maintain a valid driver’s license and good standing according to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Pharm D
• At least two years of healthcare/pharmaceutical experience
• Leadership and decision-making skills
• Experience with health systems or institutional accounts is preferred
• Knowledge of gastroenterology and/or hepatology is a plus
• Proficient in basic computer skills and sales data software
