About The Department

The Cardiometabolic Sales Team leads the US sales efforts for Novo Nordisk’s cardiometabolic product portfolio, including therapies for diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular risk reduction. The team provides exposure to portfolio strategies, market insights, and drives product reach to those in need.

The Position

The role involves achieving sales goals by executing local strategies, promoting products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), and building relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and healthcare systems. Internal collaboration with the District Business Manager and other teams is essential.

Essential Functions
  • Drive sales and exceed goals through strategic execution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers
  • Share market insights and collaborate with team members
  • Implement sales strategies based on customer needs and market trends
  • Maintain accurate activity records and reports
  • Engage in clinical and scientific discussions with healthcare professionals
Physical Requirements

Maintain a valid driver’s license and good standing per company policies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or PharmD
  • At least 2 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical experience
  • Leadership and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of gastroenterology and hepatology preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel
