Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is seeking a Cardiology Technician Assistant in Grapevine, TX. The role involves assisting the Cardiology team with patient care, documentation, and supply management in a fast-paced specialty hospital.

You will support technicians and Cardiologists, help restrain patients, maintain clean treatment areas, and ensure accurate records. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, with flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
• Work successfully as a team member and autonomously.
• Sense of urgency, Critical thinking skills.
• Effective patient restraint.
• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior veterinary experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians in ensuring patients receive quality care.
• Assist in ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
• Assist with oversight and care of stable patients.
• Assist Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint.
• Manage the restocking of supplies for clinical teams.
• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department.
