Job summary

MedVet in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Cardiology Technician Assistant to support veterinary teams in a fast-paced emergency and specialty setting. You’ll assist technicians, maintain clean treatment areas, manage supplies, and help ensure accurate documentation while delivering compassionate client care.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, multitasking, and prior veterinary experience. Schedule is Mon-Thu 8:30am-3:30pm with opportunities for additional hours as needed;

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
• Work successfully as a team member and autonomously.
• Sense of urgency, Critical thinking skills.
• Effective patient restraint.
• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior veterinary experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians in ensuring patients receive quality care.
• Assist in ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
• Assist with oversight and care of stable patients.
• Assist Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint.
• Manage the restocking of supplies for clinical teams.
• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department.
