Job summary

Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists in Decatur, GA, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our Cardiology service. You will support the cardiologist, assist with in-house diagnostics, and help provide compassionate care for patients with cardiac disease.

The ideal candidate is an LVT or has strong experience with phlebotomy, ECG/Holter, radiography, and centesis, and excels in a fast-paced team environment while communicating clearly with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• LVT preferred and relevant certifications.
• Experience with cardiac diagnostics and treatments.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced workflow.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support cardiologist to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist cardiologist and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Assist with procedures in accordance with Georgia's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians.
• Communicate with clients about individual health concerns and home care, medications, and follow-up communication.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
