Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Cardiology Technician Assistant to support cardiology procedures and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist technicians and Cardiologists with client services, patient care, and documentation while maintaining clean, well-stocked areas and collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent client service and phone etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
• Work successfully as a team member and autonomously.
• Sense of urgency and critical thinking skills.
• Effective patient restraint in a clinical setting.
• Flexibility with work hours and ability to handle extra hours when necessary.
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians to ensure patients receive quality care.
• Help ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Assist with oversight and care of stable patients.
• Assist with patient restraint under supervision of veterinary staff.
• Manage restocking of supplies for clinical teams.
• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage department laundry needs.

Proposed work schedule: Monday - Thursdays from 8:30a-3:30p

We are looking for: Cardiology Technician Assistant

Our Cardiology department collaborates with multiple specialties across the hospital. You will have the opportunity to continuously expand your knowledge and skillset in advanced cardiology procedures. You can expect to assist our technicians and our Cardiologists with client services and patient care.

What you’ll do:

• Assist veterinary technicians in ensuring patients receive quality care
• Assist in ensuring documentation is accurate and complete
