Job summary
South Heart Clinic seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology & Vascular Medicine team in the McAllen area, serving McAllen, Edinburg, and the Rio Grande Valley. You will evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions, providing comprehensive care and collaboration with physicians.
Ideal candidates have cardiology or vascular experience or a strong interest with willingness to be trained.
Qualifications
- Active NP license and APRN credentials.
- Cardiology or vascular experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions.
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and lifestyle changes.
- Provide ongoing management of cardiovascular risk factors.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
