Job summary

Cardiac Solutions in Peoria, AZ is seeking a skilled triage specialist for a call-center, non-patient facing role. You will handle incoming patient concerns, route phone notes, and process renewals in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires excellent customer service, HIPAA knowledge, and familiarity with cardiac medications. A Medical Assisting program and cardiac office experience are highly preferred, with full-time schedule in Peoria.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year cardiac experience in a medical office or health care field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of centralized triage medical office or healthcare setting strongly preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills and medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Follows Triage Protocols, policies, and procedures to include answering and routing phone notes.
• Processes and completes all daily items/tasks (phone notes, voicemails, emails, flags, refills, etc.).
• Sort and process all documents assigned to triage department.
• Review all Rx renewals daily for any unmatched patients.
• Creates and routes all cardiac and dental clearance requests as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned per the need of the organization and within scope of position.
