Job summary

Liberty Hospital is seeking a Cardiology Technician to perform ECGs, stress tests, and Holter monitor hookups. You will assist physicians, document procedures, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.

The role requires an EMT or paramedic background, a high school diploma or GED, and certification in CPR/AED/BLS within 90 days. Experience with accounting of billing for cardiac tests is a plus. This is a full-time position at the Liberty Hospital site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Arrhythmia course within 90 days.
• Minimum six months performing cardiac procedures or EKG and Stress Test procedures.
• Minimum six months work experience as an EMT or paramedic.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification within 90 days is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ECGs, stress tests, and Holter monitor hookups.
• Maintains accurate billing for EKGs, Holter monitors, and stress testing.
• Prepares patient for procedures and assists physician during stress tests.
• Explains Holter monitor procedures and performs Holter scans.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and ensures all procedures are documented.
