Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
BLS certification required.
Cardiology tech certification or eligibility preferred.
Strong English reading and writing required.

Responsibilities

Performs electrocardiography examinations according to departmental procedures.
Processes electrocardiography results for physician review and interpretation.
Documents and charges all procedures per departmental policy and procedures.
Maintains equipment and department inventory as needed.
Schedules and maintains records per policy.
Assists and provides guidance to new employees and staff as needed.
Participates in collection of quality assurance data.
Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients per age guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
