Job summary

Trinity Health in Waterbury, CT is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support noninvasive cardiology stress testing. Under supervision of the cardiologist, you will review medical histories, perform focused cardiovascular assessments, and administer exercise and pharmacologic stress tests with nuclear medicine.

The role requires BLS/ACLS certification, current Connecticut RN licensure, and 2+ years in cardiology or related units. Proficiency with EPIC and IV placement is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred; graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: current Connecticut RN license.
• Experience: minimum two years cardiology/emergency/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient histories and performs focused cardiovascular assessments before testing.
• Administers exercise and pharmacologic stress tests with nuclear medicine.
• Places IVs and administers Definity contrast agents per protocol.
• Monitors during stress testing and responds to adverse events per ACLS.
