Job summary

Mission Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cardiology Stepdown. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following nursing models and best practices to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include admission assessments, medication administration, timely documentation, patient advocacy, and educating patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up. ACLS/BLS within 30 days and RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in the state.
• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and responsive patient support.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, meds, side effects, and follow-up.
