The role directs budgeting, staffing, regulatory compliance, and program development within the Cardiology Service Line, with emphasis on quality, safety, and service excellence across the system's cardiac services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of leadership experience in an acute care hospital.
• MBA, MHA or related degree in progress.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for compliance.
• Five years Cardiology Service Line experience, of which three years in management.
• Active NM Licensure may be required depending on the clinical focus of this position.

Responsibilities

• Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal, and personnel activities for assigned department(s) in accordance with established regulatory agencies.
• Prepares and manages budgets, manages staff, and ensures quality services are provided through daily operations.
• Manages operations and development for assigned area(s) with measurable improvements in clinical outcomes and customer patient satisfaction.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
