Job summary

SGMC Health in Georgia seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide advanced cardiovascular care on the Cardiovascular Services team. You will coordinate patient plans with physicians and other disciplines, and mentor new nurses.

Responsibilities include delivering patient and family education, while upholding SGMC Health values, policies, and procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• : Current RN License in State of Georgia.
• : Current CPR required.
• : Applicable specialty certification preferred.
• : Completion of unit/service specific training program; Competence in 3 Cardiovascular Areas.
• : Two years RN experience required.
• : Two years RN experience in related specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced level nursing care in Cardiovascular Services.
• Coordinates patient’s plan of care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Provides education/training of new nurses.
• Provides patient & family education.
• Maintains alignment with SGMC Health values, goals, policies and procedures.
