Qualifications

• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• BH Dysrhythmia course preferred or to be completed upon hire.
• BH IV competency preferred or to be completed upon hire.
• Any exception must be approved by the CNO.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates organizational skills to maintain safe delivery of care and administers medications and treatments.
• Conducts accurate age-appropriate clinical assessments and documents plans of care.
• Recognizes acute changes in patient status and intervenes appropriately.
• Develops a comprehensive educational plan for the patient/family and documents accordingly.
• Addresses patient experience concerns and escalates to leadership when needed.
• Actively participates in interdisciplinary rounds and contributes to performance improvement initiatives.
