Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice in Michigan.
• BLS certification issued by AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Integrates evidence-based knowledge into practice.
• Delegates and coordinates nursing tasks and assignments.
• Facilitates and participates in patient conferences.
• Coordinates discharge/transfer teaching with relevant resources.
• Pursues professional growth through hospital or community programs.
• Teaches and guides professional and ancillary personnel.
• Precepts/mentors new employees and students.
