Job summary

Cardiac Study Center/ Pulse Heart Institute in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a General Cardiology outpatient role. The position is full-time and in-office, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates and a pay range of $34.32–$52.83 USD per hour.

Responsibilities include telephone triage, patient education, and collaboration with physicians to deliver top-tier outpatient cardiology care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Washington Registered Nurse license at time of hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ideally 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs and respond to urgent, emergent, and non-urgent inquiries.
• Develop and deliver individualized patient education programs focused on diagnosis, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and high-quality patient care.
• Serve as a cardiac health resource and educator for office staff and community.
• Monitor and manage abnormal test results and coordinate appropriate referrals and follow-ups.
