Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7Heart unit, a fast-paced environment focusing on acute and chronic cardiac care. You will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with the care team, and support diagnostic testing and interventions for cardiology patients.

A valid RN license and BLS/ACLS are required or underway. The unit handles congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and other dysrhythmias, with opportunities to advance skills in critical care and teamwork

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.
Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
