Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Registered Nurse for its Heart and Vascular specialty in Grove City, OH. The RN will coordinate cardiology patient care, use Epic for clinical oversight, and educate patients and families while supporting a collaborative care team.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license, with 2+ years of RN experience and at least 1 year in Cardiology; strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Two years RN experience required; one year in Cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs as liaison between Cardiology physicians, nurses, patients, families and other treating disciplines.
• Educates and instructs patients/families on continuity of care, procedures and/ or medications.
• Provide clinical in-basket oversight and coverage via Epic.
• Complete prior authorizations, FMLA and disability paperwork.
