Job summary

The Medical Assistant position at St. Charles Health System is based in Bend, Oregon, supporting multiple specialties and collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Must have basic knowledge of ICD-10 CM/CPT/HCPCS conventions.
Working knowledge of medical practice management information systems.
Must maintain confidentiality andHIPAA compliance.
NHA/AMT/AAMA certification or EMT/LPN/RN licensure per requirements.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to exam rooms and prep for physician assessment.
Record and maintain patient data in the medical chart.
Assist physician with calls and requests from patients or professionals.
Perform physician-requested ancillary and/or surgical procedures (excludes IV meds).
Maintain equipment and supply inventory; ensure a safe environment.
